since I last blogged. Such a busy time of the year
So what have I been up to? This morning I sewed while Ian took Cameron to his swimming lesson. Got a cushion finished. I bought the panel ages ago, but only managed to score an inner last week. The panel is from designer Laurie Wisbrun. Love her work. I have 2 other panels to make into cushions, Llamas, but will need to wait till I get some inners for the cushions.
Last night we went to the Carols by Candlelight picnic down at Cobblestones. I was enjoying it, but we had to leave early as the teenagers we bitching and moaning about it.
I’ve been making Pirate dolls. One is for Cam (to go with his Pirate quilt for Christmas), one for a friend and one for my niece.
The car went in for a small repair and a WOF and came out $500 over my car repair budget
Ouch! Just what you need at Christmas time (and mass birthday month).
I finished a queen size quilt for a Christmas present:-)
Made some custom items for customers:-)
Made a gorgeous cross stitched Christmas stocking for a swap,
and a stocking for Lilly (who managed to lose hers).
Made a self portrait wall hanging for Cameron’s teacher for her end of year gift,
and last but not least, made some cute drawstring bags (one for a giveaway and 2 for sale in my shop)
Apart from all the sewing, I’ve been doing some gardening, as has Ian. We have planted corn and more potatoes, and today I have planted more lettuces, zucchini, carrots, beetroot, snow peas and basil and parsley.
There is no more progress on fixing bits of the house. We had planned a bit more fencing and re-gibbing the bedroom now that all the new windows are in, but fixing the car took the last of the cash, so it will all have to wait.
If I’m too lazy to post again before christmas, you have a merry one

I got inners for the cushion covers you made me from The Warehouse. They’re reduced to clear cushions, ugly as anything but no-one will ever see them anyway! I think they cost $4 each
You have made lots of beautiful things this year, so yes you have been busy, and your garden is looking awesome.
