But I’m not complaining, yet. A few days rain is very welcome. The ground was so dry and it’s good to get some water in the tanks.
I really like not having to get out each night and water the garden. Lots of flooding is happening up North, but hopefully we will be okay here.
I’m feeling happy tonight, having just heard that the Pink Hex quilt I finished a couple of days ago is sold. I was particularly pleased with this quilt as it was just so different from how it started out. I quilted it quite heavily so that it will have a gorgeous crinkly texture when it gets washed. Here’s some pics of the finished product.
I picked up the last of the red fabric I needed to finish the Pinwheel quilt.

Not only does it show Cameron’s wicked knitted Hoody (which is meant for winter, but due to the inclement weather he’s wearing it today), but show his intense concentration, he was watching Top Gear. is new favourite show and I have to say I’m enjoying this new passion a whole lot more than “Go Diego”
