I got Julie’s quilt basted on Friday. The was a mission. Approximately 265 pins :-0
Since then I’ve quilted most of the quilt. Grid quilted it, free motioned the houses. I’ve just got to finish the border quilting I started last night then it’s only binding to go. Yay. I feel like I’m on the home stretch now.
Saturday and Sunday I got 2 bee blocks done (still got 3 to do).

I’m hoping to get the rest of the quilting bee blocks done before the weekend, otherwise they will be late. I’m looking forward to Saturday, our Monday night sewing group is getting together for a whole day sewing as it’s a long weekend. Yay. I’ll have to decide which WIP project I should take along.
Well I better go get ready for the day. I’m parent help on a kindy trip today. We are quite busy this term with Kindy / school stuff. Lots of trips out and half days and parent help things on. I really feel torn some days as I can really only work when Cam’s at kindy, but that’s usually the time I’m needed to help out. Someone has to do it though. In the holidays the kindy had a working bee and I was appalled that out of 40 families only 3 parents bothered to come and help out (that included me). Pretty slack as I know that most of those families have 1 parent not working and it was a child friendly event. The kids just came and played while we worked. I even took Nathan along and he helped out.
