I’ve been really busy with work. I was given a quilt top to quilt and bind. I loved working on this, the colours are a bit paler than I would have chosen, but it quilted up a dream.
After that I had an order for 2 Art Totes. I made the pattern up for these myself (first time), they needed to be done by early next week, but I wanted to be sure they would arrive on time so I worked all yesterday and half of the day before getting these done. They are going to be posted tomrrow.
Things have been selling in the shop, and I have requests for more. Which means I need to make some more stuff to restock. It’s all good , but I’m feeling time is very hard to come by. I need to finish the nappies for the neighbours baby (by Monday) and start a custom quilt next week. Just a little stressed. No time for sewing today either. Maybe I should go do some now, it will make me feel like I’ve achieved something constructive today.
The Downside – Some little #*^%$@ at Nathans school smashed the screen on his laptop during class yesterday. He left it unattended for a few minutes. Guess who will have to pay for the insurance excess?? I’m waiting to hear back from the school, but you can bet the “nobody saw anything”. Grrrr.
