The quilt was getting me down a bit, its taking so long (approx 1hour for a 10 inch block), so I took a break on Monday and made some nappies. I’m still trying to get through the stash of fabric that I have, so they aren’t costing me anything to make 
All these nappies are made with PUL film on the inside. I’m finding it really easy to work with now I use the adhesive spray to attach it the the outer fabric. The surf one has a cotton outer, the motorbikes is flannel, and the other 3 are minky. The blue minky was a little short on width, so the wings are shorter than the others, one a bit more than the others, so I’ll prob offer it as a swap on TNN as I think it will be a bit tight on Cam (he nearly needs large nappies).
Lilly didn’t have a good run yesterday at the cross country She got tripped at the start and then had a difficult run as she was coughing a lot. She came in 67th, which was last, but there were some others who didn’t complete the course, so I’m pretty proud of her for not giving up. She did go to bed early last night as she was feeling crook. I did think she was not 100% in the morning on the way over to the race. I’ve kept her home from school today. Oh well, she is looking forward to doing it again next year. Cam found the day very tiring, we didn’t get home till almost 5pm. He had a little nap on the way home.
