We went for a jaunt out to Riverdale today. I haven’t been there since I was a kid, but Nathan and Lilly are a bit more familiar with it as that’s where the school takes the classes to learn about beach safety. I also got to see Camp Anderson, where N and L went last year (and hope to go again when I can afford it).
It was very hot at the beach, and quite windy too, so sand was covering everything after about 10 minutes. Cam loved the sand, but didn’t like to waves at all. We got him to play in the wet sand, but he got upset if a wave got him wet. It was pretty cold, and the tow there is very strong.
